The average sales price during April was $222,180 with a median sales price of $176,000 with an average day on the market (DOM) of 87.
While comparing the sales data from April 2013, the Paradise real estate market saw an increase this year in quantity of homes sold as well as average and median sales prices. Last year there were only 22 homes sold during the month of April with an average sales price of $173,614 and a median sales price of $147,750.

The Chico real estate market had a total of 73 single family residences successfully close escrow during the month of March 2014 after an average days on the market (DOM) of 71. The average selling price was $275,108 with a median selling price of $250,000. This month reflects an approximate 5.5% decrease on average selling price and an approximate 10% decrease in median sales price from February's numbers.
When looking at March of 2013, we are slightly down in all areas this year. The quantity of single family homes which successfully closed escrow last year totaled 99 after an average DOM of 63. The average sales price last year was $276,556 with a median sales price of $265,000.

The average sales price was up slightly compared to February's numbers to $228,724 with a median sales price of $205,750. However, these numbers reflect an approximate 20% increase from March 2013's average sales price and an approximate 19% increase in median sales price.
While looking at the sales figures for the Paradise real estate market from March 2013, the current DOM is nearly half of what it was last year's days of 104. The average sales price last March was $189,792 with a median sales price of $172,500.
